Surprise! After nearly a year of work, I’m so excited to share that I’ve published my first children’s book!

The Traveling Trunk follows cousins Leo, Emma, and Finn as they discover a mysterious trunk in their grandma’s attic. Each item they touch transports them to a different country and cultural celebration. Along the way, they learn about Carnaval, Holi, and Ferragosto straight from the locals who celebrate them.

I believe cultural education is one of the pillars of raising kind, globally-minded kids. Learning about traditions different from your own builds empathy and openness in a way that stays with you. My hope is that this book gives kids a window into communities across the world, and that they get just as excited to explore these traditions as Leo, Emma, and Finn do.
